Subversion: How to clear stored password in Win 7

Today I discovered that if you accidentally click the “remember my credentials” checkbox when you have entered the wrong credentials for connecting to a subversion repository that it stores them and tries to use them again and again, never prompting you for new ones. The solution (as you would not expect) is not to have to click on a “clear passwords” button but instead to go and remove the entry from the settings. See here¬†for the article I read and here is the location in Windows 7 (which differs from the one given in the article):

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Subversion\auth\svn.simple

In this folder you will find some files named with GUIDs, one of these contains the details that you inadvertently stored and so you have to go through and inspect the content of each file until you find the right one – then delete it.
